Let Everybody Know
What is Karabakh's attitude towards the ideas expressed by the
former President in his September 21 speech?
According to politician DAVID BABAYAN, `In general, I think it is
very good that this person expressed his opinion, and even if that
opinion hasn't changed since 1998, let the people, the whole
community know what he thinks.
Because, after all, we Armenians are to settle the Karabakh
conflict and, in general, the Armenian issue, of which the Karabakh
issue forms part. And the more our society is aware of the viewpoints
of such activists, the better. The easier it will be to avoid the
manipulation of public opinion.
In this respect, I really consider the speech useful. Let
everybody know what the former President thinks and whether or not
his attitudes have changed with regard to the Karabakh issue.
