ARPI VARDANYAN: RECALLING OF TURKISH AMBASSADOR FROM CANADA ARE REGULAR GAMES OF ANKARA

ArmInfo. Recalling by Turkey of its ambassador from Canada are
regular games of Ankara, Regional Director of Armenian Assembly
of America in Armenia and Nagornyy Karabakh, Arpi Vardanyan, told
ArmInfo correspondent.
She also added such demonstrative steps were also taken by Turkey
regarding France, when the latter officially recognized Armenian
genocide, but then the relations between the two states normalized
again. She thinks the same will be in case of Canada as well,
especially that this country recognized Armenian genocide five
years ago.
To recall, Turkey recalled its ambassador in Canada's capital Ottawa
after a commemoration night organized to mark Armenian Genocide,"
local media reported Wednesday. The decision to recall Ambassador Rafet
Akgunay for "consultations" came as a reaction to the commemoration
of the Armenian genocide.
