RA PRESIDENT CONGRATULATED ON THE INDEPENDENCE DECLARATION DAY

The President Serzh Sargsyan sent a greeting message on the 19th
anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The message says:
"Dear compatriots, 19 years ago this day the Supreme Council of Armenia
accepted the Declaration of Independence, which became a historical
and significant document for the future of our country. It is the
expression of the will that has passed through many sufferings, has
smoothened its way by cross, by pen and by sweat, sometimes with the
sword in the hand; it is the expression of its determination to build
its own country on its own land.
The Declaration of Independence was accepted by all the Armenians with
great enthusiasm as it aimed to realize the dream of the Armenians
which was resumption of the independent state.
By this document we declared to the world our way to the development
for the political independence of the Armenian nation.
I warmly congratulate you on the anniversary of the Declaration of
Independence and wish you prosperity.", - informed the RA President's
press office.
