On January 29, while in Oslo for a brief official visit, Armenian
Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian met with his Norwegian
    counterpart, Jonas Gahr Store.

Over a business lunch, the two foreign ministers discussed steps taken
toward developing bilateral relations, as well as regional and
    international issues.

Store shared with Nalbandian his country's foreign policy and his
experience in cooperation between Scandanavian countries, noting that
it could also be applied in other regions. In this context, Nalbandian
placed emphasis on one of the world's leaders in hydrocarbon reserves
and one of the world's most peaceful countries, Norway's policies and
activities toward reinforcing international security, saying that it
can set an example for other countries.

Nalbandian, in turn, shared with Store the main goals and aims of
Armenia's foreign policy, as well as efforts toward establishing
security and stability in the Caucasus, steps taken toward
`co-habiting' with the European family, the latest developments in the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement process, the Armenian president's
initiative in establishing relations between Armenia and Turkey and
    other efforts in that regard.

Near the end of the meeting, Nalbandian and Store signed an Agreement
on Re-Admission between Norway and Armenia.

As announced by the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs press office, a
joint press release was issued as a result of the meeting.
