Azerbaijan is the most barbaric country in the world, Azerbaijanis
seem to have genetic hatred for everything which is Armenian, Hakob
Simonyan, Director of the Scientific and Research Institute of
Historical and Cultural Heritage of Armenia's Ministry of Culture,
told reporters in Yerevan.
"I am sure that very few of around 10,000 monuments have been kept.
Azerbaijan deliberately destroys all Armenian monuments in its
territory, at the state level and consistently."
Touching upon the condition of Armenian churches in Georgia the
expert said Georgia does not destroy Armenian churches but turns
them Georgian.
Armenia's Ministry of Culture has been informed that Georgia is
set to turn the Surb Yerevman Church of Akhaltsikhe into a Georgian
Catholic center.
