Official Islamabad stands for the unconditional release of
Armenian-occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
The statement came from the Foreign Minister of Pakistan Hina
Rabbani Khar.
"Pakistan fully supports the position of Azerbaijan in the
Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, and considers
the liberation of occupied Azerbaijani territories unconditional",
she said during a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Islamabad
Dashgyn Shikarov.
According to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Pakistan, Pakistan's Foreign
Minister congratulated Azerbaijan on its election as a nonpermanent
member of UN Security Council.
She regarded it as a great success of Azerbaijani diplomacy and
expressed readiness for cooperation between the two countries within
the UN framework.
The Foreign Minister of Pakistan expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan
for $2m of humanitarian aid to flood-stricken Sindh province
In turn, the Azerbaijani Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the
Pakistani government for supporting our country's position in all
matters, including the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
