INTERNATIONAL PHILATELIC EXHIBITION WILL BE DEDICATED TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. International philatelic exhibition
will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide,
which will be held in 2015. In a conversation with "Armenpress"
the Chairman of the Armenian Union of Philatelists Hovik Musayelyan
stated that in frames of the exhibition all stamps, postcards and
envelops regarding the Armenian Genocide from the collections of
philatelists worldwide will be introduced to the public. He said:
"The joint exhibition is a good opportunity to introduce all those
stamps to the public from various parts of the world."

They have already made an agreement with the Director of the
Museum-Institute of the Armenian Genocide and now the organizers are in
the process of collection of information about the stamps, postcards
and envelops regarding the Armenian Genocide. Musaelyan stated: "Hayk
Demoyan does not miss any chance to inform foreign philatelist about
this event. Presently we are in the stage of preliminary inventory
to find out the exact sizes of the exhibition."

Notwithstanding the organizers are considering to hold the exhibition
in Yerevan, they also have a desire to introduce it in foreign
countries as well. Hovik Musayelyan said: "We must organize everything
on a very high level, so that we can introduce it in other countries
as well, including Turkey."
