ARMENIAN FM DID NOT RESPOND TO MATTERS OF INTEREST TO US - PROSPEROUS ARMENIA PARTY

YEREVAN. - During the talk at the parliament with Foreign Minister
Edward Nalbandian, responses were not given to the matters of interest
to us.
Non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party National Assembly (PAP
NA) Faction Secretary Naira Zohrabyan noted the above-said during a
briefing with news reporters on Tuesday.
"I still did not receive an answer to the question as to what Armenia
gains from replacing one economic system with another one," Zohrabyan
added.
To note, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian on Tuesday offered the NA
clarifications on the authorities' decision to become a member in
the Customs Union. The meeting was held behind closed doors.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, as a result of the talks
that were held on September 3 in Moscow between Armenian and Russian
Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin, it was announced that
Armenia plans to join the Customs Union and subsequently engage in
the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union.
