WE ARE FOR PEACEFUL RESOLUTION OF KARABAKH CONFLICT- SAYS GERMAN JOURNALIST

Seventy percent of Germans do not know what is happening in politics,
says German journalist Barbara Oertel.
The Foreign Policy Editor at Tageszeitung Daily (www. taz.de) arrived
in Armenia to participate in an Armenian-German journalism course.
Bild, one of Germany's biggest yellow press newspapers, has a daily
circulation of more than three million. "And if they want to disgrace
any official, they will surely succeed in their efforts," she said.
The German journalist says freedom of expression is honored in her
country, and journalists do their best to protect the right to freedom
of expression.
Speaking about Armenian-Azerbaijani relations Barbara Oertel said,
"When I cover these relations I do not know what is going on in
reality. Sometimes, three or four positions could be heard on the
same issue."
The German journalist added that her country is for the peaceful
settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
