Georgia's President to be interrogated over ex-PM's death case

Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili, former home affairs minister
Vano Merabishvili, ex justice minister Zurab Adeishvili that left the
country after the change of power, and deputy parliament speaker
Georgi Baramidze will be interrogated over ex-PM Zurab Zhvania's death
in 2005, Russian paper reports, citing its corresponded in Tbilisi.

According to the official information, Zhvania died of gas poisoning.

Prosecutor General Archil Kbilashvili stated that the case has been
sent to the investigative department for double examination.

`We are going to interrogate everyone somehow connected with Zhvania,'
he said.

Kbilashvili said the investigators will cooperate with the family of
the deceased PM. Zhvania's brother, member of Georgian Dream
coalition, stated that Saakashvili `personally headed the theatrical
performance of revelation of death circumstances.'

He said it was staged by home affairs, justice ministers and current
deputy speaker.
