St. Mary Armenian Food Festival to be Held May 15, 2014
St. Mary Armenian Church of Yettem will be hosting their 37th Armenian
Food Festival for the Visalia community on Thursday, May 15, 2014. Two
important changes to this annual event are taking place this year.
The location is changed to the Visalia Elks Lodge at 3100 W. Main. The
new location will provide much more parking and allows us to also
provide a new drive thru option. Guests can still choose to dine
inside to enjoy their meal or purchase additional meals to take home.
The other change is to offer a choice of either a barbecued lulu kebab
meat patty (ground lamb and ground beef) or barbecued skewered chicken
kebabs. Both entrees are served with salad, rice pilaf, Armenian peda
bread and bourma for dessert.
Lunch will be served from 11 am until 2 pm and dinner will be
available between 5 pm and 8 pm. Price for either a drive thru, take
out or inside dining meal is $12. Appetizers and desserts may also be
purchased inside.
