The United States supposes to witness advancement in Armenian-Turkish
relations, Ambassador of U.S. Marie Yovanovitch stated. "The
advancement of Armenian-Turkish ties is under the interests of not
only Armenia and Turkey but the region also," Mrs. Ambassador said
adding that the United States supports regulation of ties and opening
of border between the two states.

It's worth noting that Mrs. Ambassador's statement followed Armenian
President Serzh Sargsyan's interview to BBC, where the President
stressed that he would travel to Turkey only if visible advancement
is made in bilateral dialogue.

Mrs. Marie Yovanovitch's statement is not made by chance; it is
a signal addressed to Ankara that the U.S. will do correspondent
conclusions if the dialogue is messed up.
