ARMENIAN PRESIDENT EXPECTS HIGH LEVEL OF LIABILITY FROM THE ARMENIAN DIPLOMATS

YEREVAN, August 30. /ARKA/. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had
a meeting with the central staff of Foreign Ministry and heads of
diplomatic missions of the country abroad where he expressed his
expectations on demonstration of high responsibility of Armenian
diplomats in implementing their mission.

"I want you - the driving force of our independent state diplomacy
to feel more confident, full of energy, active and more purposeful,
ready for new diplomatic struggles and victories", said Sargsyan
in his speech, the text of which was sent to the news agency "ARKA"
by the press-service of the President's Office.

Sargsyan noted that assigning each of the ambassadors he believed that
they can better represent and protect the interests of Armenia in a
particular state or organization. "Therefore, I expect demonstration
of high responsibility entrusted to you in your worthy mission",
said Sargsyan.

He also touched the priorities of foreign policy agenda of the country,
current level and prospects of cooperation with various countries and
organizations, presented his expectations of an active, purposeful
and proactive work of Armenian diplomatic missions in some spheres,
and introduced the existing challenges and problems of Diaspora.

Meeting of central staff of Foreign Ministry and heads of diplomatic
missions is taking place on August 30-31 in Yerevan.
