Armenian FM meets Latin-American counterparts

As part of his official visit to New York, Armenian Foreign Minister
Edward Nalbandyan has met with counterparts from Mexico, Cuba and
Guatemala.

According to a press release by the Foreign Ministry, the meeting with
Mexican FM Espinosa Cantellano focused on the possibilities of
promoting bilateral relations. The two diplomats discussed future
joint steps aimed at developing cooperation. Nalbandyan briefed his
Mexican counterpart on local and international efforts towards
achieving the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.


Nalbandayn later met the Guatemalan foreign minister Harold
Caballeros. Expressing willingness to develop relations, the sides
considered possibilities of establishing cooperation between the two
Foreign Ministries and promoting cooperation in the sectors of
education and culture. The Guatemalan official invited Nalbandyan to
his country to continue the the dialogue.

The meeting with Cuban FM Bruno Bruno Rodriguez Parrillam addressed
future steps towards developing bilateral relations and exchanged
thoughts over regional issues.
