ARMENIA'S MONETARY BASE SHRINKS 5.1% OVER MARCH 2013
YEREVAN, April 30. /ARKA/. Armenia's monetary base shrank 5.1% in
March 2013, compared with the previous month, to AMD 645 billion.
According to the information available on the official website of
the Central Bank of Armenia, cash outside of the regulator exceeded
AMD 395.6 billion in late March 2013 against more than 397.7 billion
in February.
Obligatory reserves in drams totaled more than AMD 161.9 billion in
late March against more than AMD 183.4 in late February, and those
in drams exceeded AMD 84.4 billion against AMD 93.1 billion.
Net international reserves less funds from privatization totaled
about AMD 380.3 billion in late March after contracting by 9%, since
late February.
Net internal assets amounted to AMD 264.7 billion against more than
