About 35-40 graduates of children's houses face apartment issues
annually. As of this year, about 300 children do not have place of
permanent residence, they are homeless.
An official from the Labor and Social Affairs Ministry told
Armenpress that because of some issues no apartments were bought
for the homeless people in 2008-2009 connected with some issues. But
this year certain steps have been undertaken for the solution of the
issue. Six apartments have been bought in Gyumri's Mush district for
the homeless children, and 12 apartments in Maralik.
