Negotiations with OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs underway in Azerbaijan

ArmInfo-TURAN. Negotiations of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar
Mammadyarov and OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs Bernard Fassier (France),
Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia), and Matthew Bryza (USA) started at the
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry on January 14 in the morning.
The co-chairs arrived in Baku on January 13 to get the response of the
Azerbaijani leadership to the package of proposals on the Basic
Principles of the Karabakh conflict settlement that was submitted to
the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministries in Madrid in November
2007. After negotiations at the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the
co-chairs will meet President Ilham Aliyev. Afterwards, the mediators
will arrive in Yerevan to have similar meetings.
