OUTGOING BRITISH AMBASSADOR VISITS THE MOTHER SEE OF HOLY ETCHMIADZIN

On January 24 at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin the Catholicos of
All Armenians Garegin II received the Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern
Ireland to Armenia, Mr. Anthony Cantor, who is completing his mission
in our country.
"We are glad to have had the opportunity to be familiar with you. We
had chances of cooperation, which further reinforced our ties and
relations," His Holiness noted.
For his part, the Ambassador noted that he will miss Armenia and the
Holy Etchmiadzin.
During the meeting reference was made to the ties and cooperation
existing between the Apostolic Church of Armenia and the Anglican
Church.
