    ANOTHER PARTY ANNOUNCED ITS WISH TO CARRY OUT PARALLEL VOTE COUNT DURING THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS IN ARMENIA

    Yerevan /Mediamax/. "Heritage" party intends to carry out a parallel
    vote count on the day of presidential elections on February 19.

    Mediamax reports that the Political Secretary of "Heritage" party
    Vartan Khachatrian stated in Yerevan today that "the upcoming elections
    are vitally important for the country and we are ready to make all
    efforts for holding fair elections".

    "We will have constant contact with our representatives in the
    electoral commissions, as well as with the headquarters of oppositional
    candidates for the position of the President", he stated.

    Mediamax reports that earlier, "Dashnaktsutiun" party stated its
    intention to carry out parallel vote count.

    "Vartan Khachatrian stated that it is yet premature talking about
    "Heritage" party's support for this or that candidate for the position
    of the President. He noted that 4 candidates share the sympathies
    within the party - Ex-President Levon Ter-Petrosian, Leader of the
    National-Democratic Union Vazgen Manukian, Leader of "Orinats Yerkir"
    party Artur Baghdasarian and the member of "Dashnaktsutiun" party's
    Bureau Vahan Hovhannissian.
