TERRITORIES CANNOT BE SURRENDERED

`The liberated territories of the Nagorno Karabakh
Republic cannot be surrendered. The question is beyond
doubt,' presidential candidate Arman Melikian said on
January 28.
`If Armenia and Karabakh are considered united, the
territories must be recognised as indissoluble part of
the country. If we fail to do it, the territories will
lie deserted Nobody will go to live there or make
investments. The soil will remain untilled. We cannot
even dream of Western Armenia unless the issue of the
territories is solved,' he says.
