SHADY BUSINESS PREVENTS FROM ACTING IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET

Today Ashot Shahnazaryan, the chairman of economic competition
security committee met with Michael Edwards, the project coordinator
of Financial and Private Business in Europe and Central Asia regions
of World Bank.
According to A. Shahnazaryan, the prices of goods are not decreased
besides monopolized markets. "As for me, those prices should not
even be decreases as the circulation of goods was not cut," he
said. According to the president of the committee the shady business
prevents from competition, but the problem will be solved in 2009,
when the agricultural products are also taxed.
The Government of the Republic of Armenia also drafted a policy to
cut the number of shady business.
Shahnazaryan said that the decrease of percentages in small and big
business became rather difficult.
