Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) rapporteur for
Cultural Heritage in the South Caucasus Edward O'Hara's visit to
the region will be scheduled in March, 2008, member of Azerbaijani
delegation to PACE Rafael Huseynov told APA.

He said that the date of the visit of the mission led by Edward
O'Hara will be specified in the meeting of PACE Commission on Culture,
Science and Education to be held in Paris in mid March.

"The specification of the date of Edward O'Hara's visit depends on
the three Republics of South Caucasus. Factors impeding the date of
the visit in three Republics, elections and other cases should be
    taken into account," he said.

Mr. Huseynov said that the routes of the visit will be specified in
the meeting to be held in Paris. He said that the sides were proposed
to prepare maps of the establishments to be observed.

"We will present the map of the establishments which will be observed
in occupied Nagorno Karabakh and 7 surrounding regions, as well as in
Armenia. The photos and other documents of those establishments will
be added to these maps. We prepared document in the Council of Europe
on cultural monuments of Azerbaijan in Armenia three years ago. We
presented fact on the samples of cultural heritage in Yerevan city
and in the regions where Azerbaijanis are living densely. I think
that we will present more thorough documents on cultural monuments in
occupied Azerbaijani lands and Armenia. This issue will be discussed in
details in our meeting to be held in March along with Edward O'Hara,"
    he said.
