Armenia backs Iran's peaceful nuclear activities: FM

    Moscow, Feb 26, IRNA

Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian said on Tuesday that
Armenia backs Iran's peaceful nuclear activities.

Armenian foreign minister made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's
    Ambassador to Armenia Ali Saghaeian.

At the meeting, the Armenian foreign minister said his country backs
Iran's right to benefit from peaceful nuclear energy which he said is
the legitimate right of every nation.

"We all believe that Iran's nuclear energy is of peaceful nature and
it has not deviated from its proper course," he said.

The Iranian ambassador, for his part, highlighted Iran's peaceful
nuclear activities and referred to the recent report by IAEA Chief
Mohammed ElBaradei in which all ambiguities on Iran's nuclear
    activities were cleared up.

Based on Modality Plan signed between Iran and IAEA, Iran responded
to all outstanding questions and remove ambiguities to this end.

Iran gave very clear and transparent response to all questions and
ElBaradei's report put a seal of approval on the peaceful nature of
Iran's nuclear activities and underlined that the country did not
    deviate from its right path.

ElBaradei's report is now regarded as a great achievement and a
significant victory for Iran which was attained through the Iranian
    nation's resistance.

Iranian people and government fully back the move, he underlined.
