ArmInfo. The Armenian authorities can and must take measures if the
opposition starts illegal actions, the secretary of the parliamentary
group of the Republican Party of Armenia Samvel Nikoyan said in a
talk with an ArmInfo correspondent.
The rallies of the supporters of the ex president of Armenia Levon
Ter-Petrossyan are a legal action but the calls for seizing power by
any means are not. "Any government must act in the interests of its
people and start. The Armenian authorities should continue being
patient and tolerant for some more time until part of the people
rallying in Liberty Square leaves it," Nikoyan said.
