Matthew Bryza, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and
Asia, chairman of OSCE Minsk Group from the United States, currently
visiting Yerevan, met with Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan.

A source from department of press and information under Armenian
Foreign Ministry reported that the sides discussed internal political
situation in Armenia and ways of its resolution.

Oskanyan and Bryza also touched upon the negotiation process on the
Karabakh conflict settlement, including the resolution, presented by
Azerbaijan for consideration in the UN General Assembly.

The US diplomat voiced concern about the violation of ceasefire on
the contact front line of Azerbaijani and Armenian armed forces,
Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan,
    which occurred on March 4.

The sides exchanged views on international developments, election
agitation in the United States, as well as Armenian-Turkish
    relations.
