    Noyan Tapan
    April 11, 2008

YEREVAN, APRIL 11, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian subsidiary of Virage
Logic Corporation (U.S) has made its contribution to the delivery of
complete memory compiler and logic library IP portfolio for TSMC's 40
nanometer (NM) process, Virage Logic Corporation's Vice President of
Research and Development, Chief Technical Officer and Director Alex
Shubat stated at the April 10 press conference.

According to him, as compared with the previous 65nm process, this
IP portfolio is designed to enable System-on-Chips to run faster,
manage power more efficiently, use less area and achieve higher
manufacturing yields. The use of the indicated portfolio will allow
designers to install more than a million transistors in one square
    millimeter of a chip.

    A. Shubat said that reasearch on the indicated IP in use on TSMC's
40nm process began two and a half years ago, whereas its design -
about 9 months ago. Many of Virage Logic production components are
developed in the Armenian subsidiary, whose director V. Masarajian
indicated that the subsidiary makes its contribution in all directions
of the corporation's work. There are projects which are implemented
by almost 100% in the subsidiary.

Virage Logic was founded in 1996 in the city of Fremont,
California. The Armenian subsidiary was set up in 1999 and initially
had 5 employees. The subsidiary currently employs 120 engineers. In
the words of A. Shubat, it is envisaged to increase the numer of the
subsidiary's employees to 200 in the next few years, which is in line
with the corporation's long-term programs, under which most of the
    growth is aimed at Armenia.

    A. Shubat added that he will leave for Moscow with the aim of laying
the basis of Virage Logic's business cooperation programs in Russia
for the first time. He expressed a hope that the development of
information technologies in Armenia will create an opportunity for
their company to have customers in our country as well. The vice
president of Virage Logic has received assurances on assistance with
the development of the IT sector and the implementation of Virage
Logic's Armenian subsidiary programs during the April 8 meeting with
the RA minister of trade and economic development Nerses Yeritsian.
