PACE RESOLUTION WILL GIVE ANSWERS

The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
(PACE), Lluís Maria de Puig said today he is going to visit Armenia
in the nearest future. He highlights PACE discussions of the Armenian
presidential election and the current situation in the country. He is
concerned that some human rights were ignored during the presidential
election in Armenia.
In reply to A1+'s question regarding the release of the political
prisoners of Armenia the PACE President said the PACE session will
pass a resolution which will give the answers to the question.
Lluís Maria de Puig voiced hope that being a EU member Armenia will
fulfill its commitments to the EU and effect important changes.
