KARABAKH'S TERRITORY HAS NOT BEEN AND WILL NOT BE TRANSIT ZONE FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

YEREVAN, 18.04.08. DE FACTO. The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic's territory
has never been and will not be a transit zone for the dissemination
of drugs, the Nagorno-Karabakh Procurator General Arshavir Garamian
stated on Thursday at a press conference held in Stepanakert.
Garamian stated it while commenting on the gossips periodically
exaggerated by the Azeri party concerning the fact that the Karabakh
territory and the territories controlled by the Republic authorities
were allegedly used for transit and production of drugs.
"It is excluded and runs counter to the Karabakh society's interests",
Garamian noted. The NKR Procurator-General noted that the Azerbaijani
party spread misinformation; its accusations are groundless,
Novosti-Armenia Agency reports.
