ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT TO FUND GRADUATES' STUDY AT WORLD BEST UNIVERSITIES

    ARKA
    June 17

Armenian government will fully cover the expenses of education in the
world's best universities for Armenian University graduates, Armenian
Premier Tigran Sargsyan stated at a solemn ceremony of handing diplomas
to the graduates of the State Economic University of Armenian.

"The government will provide exclusive conditions fully covering the
expenses for each of you who will enter one of the world-renowned
    universities" the premier said.

Sargsyan said the students must prove now that the graduates of the
Economic University are able to enter the best Universities of the
world. "We hope that the graduates of the government's first financial
assistance will be you, the graduates of this University."

However, since the University knowledge quickly goes out of date the
ability to learn and think is becoming a key skill of a good student.

"Those who have mastered the skill of thinking will be highly demanded
in society and will learn how to apply their knowledge and their
ability of thinking in practice," he explained. argsyan said the
government must create conditions for talented graduates to be able
to occupy decent posts in Armenia.

"On behalf of the government, I guarantee that the most valued citizen
in Armenia will be the talented representative of young generation
who has mastered the skill of learning and thinking," he said.

On June 17, 1,924 students graduated from the Economic University with
927 of them the five-year traditional system and 997 the four-year
system of baccalaureate. State economic University of Armenia was
    founded in 1975.

6,200 students are currently specializing in 22 fields of the
    University's five faculties.
