UFC 88 Odds: Yoshida vs. Parisyan fight odds

One of the more intriguing fights at UFC 88 sees Karo Parisyan as odds
makers' large favorite over Yoshiyuki Yoshida.

Currently listed as a favorite of about -210 at online sportsbook
bookmaker.com, the Armenian Parisyan is 18-5 but is coming off a TKO
loss to Thiago Alves at UFC Fight Night 13 that he hopes to avenge
    here.

He'll face off against Yoshida who is 10-2 but has only fought once in
the UFC when he choked Jon `War Machine' Koppenhaver unconscious in
under a minute at UFC 84.

Yoshida is the former Cage Force champion and is not going to be a
pushover for anyone. The Japanese fighter is primarily a striker but
has shown good submission defense in his limited time in the
spotlight. 6 of his 10 wins have been by knockout or technical
knockout with both of his losses coming at the beginning of his career
    by decision.

Although Parisyan has never shown a ton of power in his strikes (no
career knockouts) he does have a technical style that frustrates
opponents and usually keeps him out of harm's way. He has a great
chin and a never-say-die attitude that keeps him involved in all the
    fights he has been in.

Yoshida is an excellent fighter but he's simply not a good bet to win
against Karo as a large underdog. The guys that beat Parisyan have
almost exclusively wrestlers before Karo's last fight which he says
was a horrible stoppage and he could have continued.

This one is likely to go to a decision and the Armenian's incredible
judo game will be the difference with Yoshida getting tripped to the
ground at times and not having enough wrestling to be in a dominant
position. Bright things are in store for Yoshida in the UFC but this
    simply is not his fight.

Bet Karo Parisyan -210 at Bookmaker.com, where the line originates
    since 1985.
