ARMENIAN FM RECEIVES GORAN LENMARKER
YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian received today special rapporteur of the OSCE PA on
Karabakh issue Goran Lenmarker.
Foreign Ministry press service told Armenpress that during the
meeting, with the request of the rapporteur, the minister presented
the recent developments over Nagorno Karabakh conflict regulation
process and said that after the meeting of the presidents of the two
countries in June in Saint Petersburg they tasked the foreign
ministers to continue the negotiations within the framework of the
OSCE Minsk Group on the basis of 2007 Madrid suggestions.
Speaking about the recent developments in the region, the sides
noted that the solution of issues may be found only through peaceful
negotiations.
Edward Nalbandian said that Armenia has always been for the
solution of issues through dialogue and that Armenia's foreign policy
is directed towards consolidation of stability, security and
cooperation in the Caucasian region.
During the meeting the sides also referred to the issues on
regulation of Armenian-Turkish relations, as well as to other regional
issues.
