ACCORDING TO PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF ARABKIR PREFECT ELECTIONS, NON-PARTISAN BUSINESSMAN ALBERT YERITSIAN RECEIVES MOST OF VOTES

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 8, NOYAN TAPAN. According to the preliminary
results of the September 7 elections of head of Arabkir community,
non-partisan Albert Yeritsian, the Founding Chairman of the Yeritsian
& Sons company, has received most of the votes. 16 591 voters voted
for him.
As Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed by Tatev Ohanian, the
Spokesperson of the Central Electoral Commission, the votes of the
rest three candidates for prefect's post have been distributed in the
following way: current prefect, RPA member Hovhannes Shahinian 7 172,
Zharangutiun (Heritage) party representative, former CEC member Zoya
Tadevosian 5 608, Vice-Chairman of the Progressive Party of Armenia
Ashot Mnatsakanian 181.
31 827 out of 88 466 voters of the community took part in voting. 871
ballot-papers were invalidated. The number of inaccuracies is 398.
The deadline of submitting application-complaints to district electoral
commission N 4 was September 8, 14:00.
