EDVARD NALBANDYAN HOLDING A BRIEFING WITH TURKISH JOURNALISTS

Minister of Foreign Affairs Edvard Nalbandyan had a meeting with
Turkish journalists who had come to Armenia to be present at the
Armenia-Turkey football match.
Press-administration of Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that
answering to journalists questions Edvard Nalbandyan said that
he characterized the visit of the president of Turkey to Armenia
as historic and thought that it could become a good stimulus for
regulation of bilateral relationships between two neighbour countries.
Edvard Nalbandyan had emphasized that international mass-medias
had paid much attention to the news of the visit of the president
of Turkey to Armenia. Minister had also added that in diplomatic
vocabulary appeared a new conception of Â"football diplomacyÂ".
At the end of the briefing E. Nalbandyan thanked the journalists
telling them that their positive illustration of the invitation of
the president of Armenia assisted the process of regulation of the
relationships between two counties. The Turkish journalists thanked
the minister too and assured him that they would continue their
affairs directed to the establishment of friendly relationships
between Armenian and Turkish nations.
