"TOROSSIAN CANNOT PAY OFF THE DEBTS"

"Torossian cannot pay off the debts at casinos while Hovik Abrahamian
can. This is already a great advantage for a NA Speaker," member of
the Pan-National Movement (HHSh) Aram Manukian said while speaking
about Abrahamian's advantages over Tigran Torossian.
Today the "Hayeli" Club hosted Republican MP Gagik Melikian and HHSh
member Aram Manukian who debated over the country's political scene.
"Torossian's expulsion from your ranks testifies to the Republicans'
unscrupulousness as Torossian is the only political figure in the
party who abstains from the criminal world and business circles,"
said Aram Manukian.
I have affiliated with the Republican's political board for eight years
and I have never noticed Torossian come into conflict with his fellow
colleagues. I think he has decided to resign out of sensitivity,"
said Gagik Melikian.
"Will you take Torossian to your team?" wondered journalists.
"Torossian is guilty of the March 1 carnage. Let him first account
for the tragic events," Manukian said in reply.
Aram Manukian says the Republicans consent to all Sarkissian's
steps. "If tomorrow Serzh Sarkissian decides that Torossian should
hold the post of the NA Speaker the Republicans will unanimously vote
for the decision," he said.
The Republican MP said the party is for pluralism and Serzh Sarkissian
never binds his decisions to the Party.
When asked to name a Republican who has spoken against Serzh
Sarkissian's decision Melikian said, "All of us have. At least,
I have both agreed and disagreed to his decisions."
