ARMENIAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES CHAIRMAN OF "KRONIMET" GERMAN COMPANY

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
received today chairman of the "Kronimet" German company Armenian
Honorable Consular in German Baden Wurtemberg province Gunter Pilarski
and the delegation headed by him.
Presidential press service told Armenpress that the president of the
country greeted the fact that any new visit of the businessman goes
in parallel with new programs. "We greet any new initiative, support
and encourage investments and our aim is to create such a business
environment which will be equally favorable for all the investors,"
the head of the country pointed out.
G. Pilarski presented in details the activity of the Zangezur
copper-molybdenum factory, investment programs, modernization of
the factory.
President Sargsyan greeted the initiatives and noted that any
modernization makes the work of enterprise more effective. Considering
one of the important issues of the government the social-economic
development of the provinces, Serzh Sargsyan said that such programs
give an opportunity to create new jobs and solve certain social issues.
Noting that Armenia is a good field for investments, Gunter Pilarski
said that together with him a group of German businessmen arrived
in Armenia and currently they are discussing with their Armenian
partners opportunities for making investments in different branches
of Armenian economy.
