MOHAMED ELBARADEI PLEASED WITH ARMENIA-IAEA COOPERATION

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenia's permanent representative to international
organizations Ashot Hovakimyan met with Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei, the
Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),
to hand a letter on his appointment, signed by the Armenian Minister
of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Dr ElBaradei said he is pleased with the
Armenia-IAEA cooperation, making special mention of implementation
of joint programs.
For his part, Mr Hovakimyan commented on Armenia's problems in the
energy field.
The parties also touched upon some regional issues, the RA MFA press
office told PanARMENIAN.Net.
