Alvard Petrosyan is for political tolerance and she would like to
see the radical opposition invited in the events dedicated to the
17th anniversary of Armenia's independence.
"I'm surprised that they are surprised at not being invited. When
they used to be in power not only did they not invite but also made
attempts to uproot opposition.
When whole year you shout "a state of chieftains", "Tatar-Mongols",
etc., you can't demand from the ruling power to show tolerance and
bigheartedness. But God willing one day our state officials will be
in such a level to be able to invite one another to such events,"
Alvard Petrosyan expressed similar hope during her meeting with
the journalists.
