PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA HOLDS CONFERENCE CONCERNING MURDER OF DEPUTY CHIEF OF POLICE

ArmInfo. Today President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan held a conference
concerning the murder of deputy chief of police Gevork Mheryan.
The press service of the President of Armenia quotes him as saying
that the crime was aimed not against one person or one official but
against a whole system. "During the last months Mheryan actively
fought corruption and we must realize this and adequately respond to
this crime," Sargsyan said.
The chief of police Alik Sargsyan, the director of the National
Security Service Gorik Hakopyan and the head of the investigation
group Gektor Sardaryan told the President about the investigation.
To remind, Mheryan was killed Feb 3 evening.
