ISSUES ON PROSPECTS AND OPPORTUNITIES OF SUPPORT TO ARMENIAN COMPANIES DEALING WITH RE-PROCESSION OF DIAMOND DISCUSSED

YEREVAN, MARCH 4, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian
received today the head of biggest Russian diamond manufacturing
"ALROSA" company Sergey Vibornov and the delegation headed by him.
Public relations department of the Armenian government told Armenpress
that during the meeting issues connected with the further process
of cooperation with this world's leading company in the conditions
of world financial crisis, opportunities of support to the Armenian
companies dealing with the re-procession of diamond and prospects of
the sphere have been discussed.
Head of "ALROSA" company presented a suggestion of providing an
extended credit line to Armenia which will give an opportunity to
purchase row-diamond from "ALROSA" and to provide the Armenian
companies with the necessary row materials during the upcoming
few years.
The sides have agreed to discuss the terms of this mutually beneficial
credit additionally examining all the risks from the creditor's and
client's viewpoints and take into consideration the further possible
manifestations of the financial and economic crisis and its impact
on the economy.
