Galoust Sahakyan: ANC's policy more cautious, `Heritage' policy - more tough

policy, the other wing is trying to be tougher,' said Galoust
Sahakyan, deputy of Armenian Parliament, head of the Republican Party
faction of Armenia. If earlier the opposition, the Armenian National
Congress, in particular, carried an aggressive policy and threatened
to hold special parliamentary elections now ANC carries a more
balanced policy, being slightly more inactive.' G. Sahakyan mentioned
that since every day he meets `Heritage' faction members at the
Parliament he noticed that their policy compared with ANC's policy is
far tougher. ` I do not view Levon Ter Petrosyan's speech (Armenia's
first president, head of Armenian opposition-editor's remark) of March
1 as the display of weakness, in my opinion, it was the result of a
more balanced analysis ' said Galoust Sahakyan.
