KIRO MANOYAN: OBAMA WILL REMAIN COMMITTED TO HIS PLEDGE

During today's press conference, Kiro Manoyan, Head of the Armenian
Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Affairs
Office, expressed his views on the forthcoming visit of US President
Barack Obama to Turkey. According to Kiro Manoyan, the visit can be
viewed from several perspectives. First, it could mean that Barack
Ombama has decided not to use the word genocide in his April 24
address. On the other hand, he could have decided to use the word
and is leaving for Turkey to court the Turks.

According to Kiro Manoyan, the second viewpoint is that Obama is
leaving for Turkey to tell them that it's time to take a step towards
normalization of relations with Armenia. "Babacan is going to visit
Armenia after Obama visit, and a document will probably be signed,"
    Manoyan said.

Kiro Manoyan believes that, most probably, Obama will remain committed
    to his pledge.
