AMERIABANK OFFERS LEGAL ENTITIES NEW TERMS FOR TIME DEPOSITS

ArmInfo. Ameriabank offers legal entities new terms for time deposits,
reports a source from Ameriabank.
The interest rate on AMD deposit is 11%, on USD and EUR deposits -
6%. For deposits exceeding 500mln AMD, 500,000 USD or 500,000 EUR
the rates will be individual.
In Feb 2009 the amount of time deposits by legal entities grew by
7.2 times as compared with Feb 2008, in Jan-Feb 2009 the index grew
by 47.8%.
In 2008 the index grew by 3 times, in the fourth quarter alone it
more than redoubled. Jan 1 2009 the amount of time deposits totalled
11.4bln AMD (9th place) - 83% or 9.5bln AMD were deposits by legal
entities (4th place).
