AZERBAIJANI MPS HOLD MEETINGS IN GERMAN BUNDESTAG

Baku. Lachin Sultanova -APA. 7 Azerbaijani MPs visited Germany at the
invitation of German Parliament, MP Muradov , member of the delegation
told APA that negotiations have been conducted to activate the position
of German parliament on Nagorno Karabakh .
"We expect that Bundestag will take serious steps on south Caucasus,
especially Nagorno Karabakh," he said.
MPs had meetings in Potsdam on March 23 and arrived in Berlin. To him,
MPs have today met with founder of Transparency International and Vice
Speaker of Bundestag. The meetings covered Nagorno Karabakh conflict,
including economic issues.
MPs will have several meetings in political funds of Germany till
March 27 and they will also meet with Commissar on Human Rights.
"We will try to conduct discussions about the situation in the region,
restoration of human rights of refugees and IDPs," he said.
MP Fattah Heydarov leads the delegation.
