OVER 1,429 WIN TOTAL OF 11.2MLN AMD THROUGH THIRD DRAWING OF CASH REGISTER RECEIPTS IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. According to the official website of the RA
State Revenue Committee tax service, 1,429 people won prizes totaling
11.2mln AMD through the third drawing of cash register receipts on
April 3.
As of April 30, 1,207 people won 5,000 AMD each, 194 - 20,000 AMD
each and 28 - 50,000 AMD each. The residents received their prizes
in 18 commercial banks.
The first and second drawings of cash register receipts were held in
Armenia on February 6 and March 6 respectively.
The lottery is aimed at reducing shady turnover and involving entities
into a single tax filed. A total of about 45,000 cash registers are
installed in trade centers in Armenia, including 7,200 cash registers
in trade fairs.
