BAKO SAHAKYAN ENCOURAGED AZERBAIJANI PARTY TO AVOID EXTREME APPROACHES

The Nagorno Karabakh participation to the negotiations on the
resolution of the NKR conflict should be restored, Bako Sahakyan, the
President of Nagorno Karabakh told the reporters at Shoushi Saint
Ghazanchetsots Church. `We are not confused; today's negotiations are
being held in incomplete format, where the NKR does not have its
participation,' the President announced. The President emphasized that
Armenia makes efforts to restore the statement adopted in Budapest
summit which states that NKR is a part to the negotiations. Current
issue is discussed in the OSCE Minsk Group `where the NKR
participation is signified.' Bako Sahakyan encouraged the Azerbaijani
party to avoid their approach of solving the problem through military
activities. The President stressed that the NKR conflict should be
solved through peaceful negotiations only.
