SERZH SARGSYAN RECEIVES EU SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE TO THE SOUTH CAUCASUS

YEREVAN, MAY 18, ARMENPRESS: President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan
received May 16 EU Special Representative to the South Caucasus Peter
Semneby who was in Armenia on a regional visit.
Presidential press service told Armenpress that the president of the
country, reconfirming Armenia's commitment to the European values
registered that the summit on "Eastern Partnership" which took place
in Prague was a good start for the expansion of Armenia-EU relations.
The interlocutors also expressed assurance that frequent meetings
and discussions witness about the expanding agenda of the Armenia-EU
partnership as well as give an opprotunity to quickly respond and
give solutions to the arousing issues.
The sides also referred to the Armenian-Turkish dialogue, prospects of
the Karabakh conflict regulation and deepening of democracy in Armenia.
