EMEAFINANCE JOURNAL CALLED TROYKA DIALOG THE BEST INVESTMENT BANK OF RUSSIA IN 2008

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Troika Dialog has been recognized as the best local
investment bank in Russia during 2008, according to the CEE & CIS
Banking Awards by Emeafinance magazine, press office of "Ameriabank"
reports.
This annual award is given to leading banks of Central and Eastern
Europe and CIS to financial organizations, which showed the best
performance in their market segment and became leaders of their
markets. Leadership, outstanding status and excellence in financial
performance are all attributes considered by the magazine when
announcing their award winners.
The magazine praised the deal Troika Dialog made with South Africa's
Standard Bank in early March, which involved Standard Bank acquiring
one third of the Russian investment bank.
As the article "Courage, mon brave", devoted to "CEE & CIS Banking
Awards" published by May issue of Emeafinance says, "independent
investment banks in Russia have remained in the past. However, one
bank remains independent, it is Troika Dialog. Selling of 30 per
cent of shares of the Troika Dialog to the Standard Bank, enables
Ruben Vardanian independently govern the bank and affirms bank's
independency".
