AMBASSADOR OF NORWAY HANDS COPY OF HIS CREDENTIALS TO RA FOREIGN MINISTER

YEREVAN, MAY 25, NOYAN TAPAN. On May 25, RA Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian received newly appointed Ambassador of Norway to RA Mr. Knut
Houg (residence Moscow) on the occasion of the ceremony of handing
the copy of Ambassador's credentials. E. Nalbandian expressed the
hope that new Ambassador's appointment will contribute to expansion of
cooperation in bilateral and many-sided formats. He said that Armenia
is interested in development and deepening of political and economic
relations with Norway.
According to the report of the RA Foreign Ministry Press and
Information Department, the interlocutors attached importance to
activation of mutual visits between the two countries, further
development of trade and economic, educational, and cultural
relations. E. Nalbandian and K. Houg also touched upon a number of
regional and international problems.
