ANAHIT BAKHSHYAN CALL ON PRESIDENT SARGSYAN TO ENSURE CONTINUANCE OF FACT-FINDING GROUP

Anahit Bakhshyan, President of the Heritage Party's Governing Council,
today sent a letter to RoA President Serzh Sargsyan in which she
pointed out that the work of the March 1st Fact Finding Group (FFG)
had essentially come to a halt.
At issue is the fact that Vahe Stepanyan, who chairs the FFG, had
been away on vacation; something not mentioned in the presidential
decree of October 23, 2008 that created the FFG. In addition, all the
documentation of the FFG has been locked away in Mr. Stepanyan's
fire-proof vault. On May 25, when Mr. Stepanyan returned, he
unexpectedly announced his resignation from the post.
Mrs. Bakhshyan's letter calls on the president to see to it that the
work of the FFG continues apace.
