PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA CALLS ON POLITICAL FORCES, PUBLIC FIGURES AND PUBLIC COUNCIL OF ARMENIA TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS ON ANNOUNCING OBLIVION TO THE ARRESTED

ArmInfo. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has called on the
political forces, public figures and the Public Council of Armenia
to submit proposals to the presidential residency on announcement of
oblivion to the arrested.
Responding to the journalists' questions during the festive events
in Sardarapat, S. Sargsyan said the last oblivion was announced in
Armenia in 2006. 'If an idea of a new oblivion has already drawn
to head in the society during these three years, I am ready to
use my Constitutional right', the president emphasized. Moreover,
S. Sargsyan said, if it turns out that such a desire actually exists
in the society, he will appeal to the parliament without fail.
